Inside a Teen Coding Bootcamp: What a Full Cohort Week Really Looks Like

Parents ask us one question more than any other: what will my child actually do each week? Here is the honest answer, hour by hour, from a normal week in our virtual cohort — no marketing gloss.

Monday and Tuesday: live class, then immediate practice

Each week opens with a 75-minute live class capped to a small group, followed the next day by a build sprint where students apply the same concept to their own project. Tutors move between breakout rooms instead of lecturing, so questions get answered while the confusion is still fresh.

Wednesday: mentor review of what is broken

Students bring the parts that do not work, not the parts that do. We debug together on screen, because watching someone find a bug calmly is one of the most transferable lessons in the whole programme.

Thursday: independent build with async support

No live session. Students work alone with a checklist and can drop questions in the cohort channel, which teaches them to write a clear problem statement — a skill every employer quietly tests for.

Friday: demo day

Every student presents for three minutes to the cohort and to parents. Presenting is part of the curriculum, not an extra, because the ability to explain your work is what turns a good project into an opportunity.

What students leave with

  • Two to four shipped projects with public links.

  • A habit of weekly building that survives after the cohort ends.

  • A small peer group that keeps them accountable.
